Job summary

Kiddie Academy of Mountains Edge in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to inspire young minds across ages 6 weeks to five years. You will plan engaging, curriculum-based lessons, create a nurturing classroom, and mentor assistant staff.

Ideal candidates hold an Early Childhood Education degree (or related field) and have 1–2 years of licensed childcare experience; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Join our supportive team committed to Life Essentials.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of licensed childcare or early education experience.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood curriculum.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, curriculum-based lesson plans.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and aides.
• Monitor and document children's developmental progress and communicate updates to parents.
• Build positive relationships with families through regular communication and parent engagement.
• Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and academy standards.
• Facilitate social, emotional, cognitive, and physical learning activities throughout the day.

About the Role:

Kiddie Academy of Mountains Edge is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire young minds in Las Vegas, NV! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives while leading a classroom with creativity, care, and purpose. Our school has students ages 6 weeks to five years old so ideally we would prefer you are comfortable working with all age groups.
