Job summary

Kiddie Academy of Mountains Edge in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Infant Assistant Teacher who will warmly support infants, work with lead teachers, and assist with daily routines and development activities. You will help maintain a safe and engaging classroom and communicate progress to families in a nurturing environment.

We value compassionate, patient caregivers who can follow licensing rules and collaborate with a supportive team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience with infants or toddlers in childcare is a plus.
Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate practices.
CPR and First Aid certification current or ability to obtain.
Background check per Nevada licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants.
Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and developmental activities.
Attend to infants' daily needs including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
Observe and document infant milestones and communicate progress to parents and staff.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Build trusting relationships with families through open and consistent communication.
Follow all licensing regulations, health, and safety protocols.
