Job summary

Beck's Montessori Accelerated Learning Center in Eagan is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support our Preschool classroom. Qualified candidates with MN ECE Assistant Teacher credentials and licensed classroom experience are preferred, Montessori experience is a plus.

Shift options: Mon-Fri 8:00am-1:00pm or 2:00pm-6:00pm, with compensation of $17-19/hour based on education and experience. We offer competitive pay, trainings, and a generous benefits package including 401k with match.

Beck's Montessori Accelerated Learning Center in Eagan is a licensed childcare center seeking an Assistant Teacher to support our Preschool classroom!

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require MN ECE Assistant Teacher Qualified and previous experience in a licensed classroom setting. Montessori experience preferred.

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 1:00pm OR 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Compensation: $17-19/hr; based on education and experience

MainJob Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in all aspects of the development and implementation of the educational environment and curriculum.
• Develops positive relationships with children and families.
• Participates in professional development activities designated by the Director.
• Maintains a neat, clean, well-organized, and attractive prepared environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy.Ensures that the classroom and associated areas (including playground) meet all licensing, safety, and health requirements.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
