Chroma Early Learning Academy in Douglasville, GA seeks a Lead Childcare Teacher to plan and deliver a structured, developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. This role requires a High School diploma or GED, a CDA/TCC or paraprofessional certificate, CPR/First Aid, and background check clearance, with adherence to Georgia Bright from the Start

At Chroma Early Learning Academy, A Lead Childcare Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering a structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. This role involves implementing curriculum that supports children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth, while ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom setting. The Lead Teacher supervises and mentors assistant staff, manages daily classroom operations, and maintains open communication with families regarding children's progress and needs. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and knowledgeable in early childhood education, with strong leadership skills and a genuine commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• CDA,TCC, or Paraprofessional certificate Required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to Pass a Background Check
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to meet all requirements under Georgia's Bright from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.
