Job summary

La Petite Academy in Centreville, VA is seeking an energetic Lead Teacher to create and deliver engaging learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers. You will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines.

Build strong relationships with families, support center success, and participate in ongoing training and credential support offered by the center.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors with children.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:
