Qualifications

• Must meet all requirements under Georgia Bright from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.

• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to meet licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Assistant Teacher to provide daily care and support to children.
• Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment meeting Georgia DECAL standards.
• Collaborate with the team to implement an age-appropriate curriculum promoting sensory exploration and gross motor development.
• Monitor developmental milestones and maintain regular communication with families.
• Ensure adherence to licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation.
• Participate in staff meetings and required professional development for Quality Rated compliance.

The Lead Childcare Teacher at Chroma Early Learning Academy is responsible for creating a structured and engaging learning environment for young children, while fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. This involves implementing curriculum, supervising staff, managing classroom operations, and maintaining open communication with families. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and knowledgeable in early childhood education, with strong leadership skills and a genuine commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

What You\'ll Do

• Partner with the Assistant Teacher to provide daily care and support to the children in the classroom.
• Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment that meets Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated standards.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to implement an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes sensory exploration, early communication, and gross motor development.
• Monitor and document developmental milestones, and maintain regular communication with families.
• Ensure adherence to all licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation.
• Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training required for Quality Rated compliance.

Requirements

• Ability to meet all requirements under Georgia’s Bright from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
