Job summary

Learning Care in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Lead Teacher to develop engaging learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers. You will lead classroom activities, ensure curriculum implementation, and uphold licensing guidelines while fostering a positive learning environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication with families and maintaining a safe, supportive classroom that supports each child’s growth and school readiness.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $17.36-18.03 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
