Job summary

Addison Group in Houston is seeking a Lead Tableau Developer to design, develop, and deliver BI solutions that empower data-driven decisions across the organization.

You will build high-quality Tableau dashboards and data sources, establish governance and performance best practices, and mentor junior team members while partnering with stakeholders and data engineering teams to translate needs into scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Analytics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years building Tableau solutions, with 2+ years in senior/lead roles.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses.
• Advanced Tableau capabilities: LOD, table calculations, parameters, actions, performance.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and published data sources.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data sources for reliable reporting.
• Lead Tableau architecture, performance optimization and governance standards.
• Collaborate with data engineering to align data models and upstream processes.
• Mentor junior analysts and guide development with best practices.
• Stay updated on BI trends and promote improvements across the organization.
