Our client, Urban Engineers, is seeking a proactive, systems-savvy, and business-minded Lead Systems Manager to own their transition to and optimization of Deltek Vantagepoint. This full-time, hybrid-eligible role is based in Philadelphia, PA, and offers a unique opportunity to lead high-impact work in a well-established, employee-owned engineering firm.

In this role, you’ll partner directly with executive leadership and IT to modernize the organization’s use of Deltek systems and transform how data supports financial and operational decision-making.

Location: Based in Philadelphia, PA, with hybrid flexibility (on-site as needed during rollout or major initiatives).

Responsibilities

• Lead the upgrade from Deltek Vision to Vantagepoint.
• Configure, test, and document system workflows, reports, and user access.
• Train and support project managers and department leaders on Vantagepoint usage.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that support operations and finance.
• Drive adoption and ensure best practices across departments.
• Serve as the internal expert on Vantagepoint capabilities, updates, and integrations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Deltek systems (Vision and/or Vantagepoint).
• Experience leading or supporting an ERP upgrade or implementation.
• Strong skills in financial and operational reporting.
• Familiarity with tools like DataRails, Power BI, SSRS, or similar platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with executive, finance, and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and user training skills.
• Based in or near Philadelphia, PA with ability to work hybrid.

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Experience working in professional services or AEC environments.
• Proficiency with SQL and building or maintaining system integrations.
• Experience with API tools, data mapping, or third-party system connections.
• A passion for improving systems, streamlining processes, and helping teams work smarter.
