Job summary

MITRE Technology and Engineering’s Systems Engineering Division seeks a Lead Systems Integration Engineer to drive end-to-end integration across transport, edge compute, and cybersecurity domains for the DISA Mission Network Transport portfolio. This role translates multi-agency needs into actionable technical strategies for senior leadership.

You will provide executive technical advisory, establish architectural traceability across JFN, ETA, Golden Dome, and MDA, and coordinate with sponsors

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience.
• BS in a technical discipline (Engineering, Physics, Math, etc.).
• Demonstrated leadership experience in teams.
• Active Top Secret security clearance (Top Secret/SCI preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end systems engineering and architectural cohesion across transport, edge compute/hosting, and cybersecurity accreditation domains.
• Provide executive-level technical advisory and prepare briefings for senior military leadership.
• Establish end-to-end architectural traceability across high-priority defense programs (JFN, ETA, Golden Dome, MDA).
• Coordinate across multiple organizations to enable RMF/ATO processes and cross-domain security.
