Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer for the Space & Defense Group.

The role involves design and development of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism, and electro-pneumatic test equipment to support Moog products. You will lead design activities, model system performance with MATLAB/Simulink, and mentor junior engineers. Location includes East Aurora, NY or Arvada, CO with on-site work and a focus on test systems for military, space, and commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• Experience leading engineers is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism, and electro-pneumatic components and systems for Moog test equipment.
• Lead the design process and provide technical leadership within Moog’s program scope.
• Develop system level requirements and verify test equipment.
• Mentor younger engineers and coordinate team efforts.
