Job summary

Boeing Phantom Works is seeking an Experienced/Lead Systems Engineer (Comm & Networks) to design and oversee standards-based networking, security, and IT for government and military applications. The role emphasizes architecture, encryption, and cross-domain solutions.

This position is 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA with travel up to 10% and U.S. Citizenship plus ability to obtain a Secret clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Strong networking engineering background with standards-based networking.
• Experience with network architecture design and configuration.
• Knowledge of network security technologies such as firewalls and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering on communications and networks for programs.
• Design and configure network architectures (IP/WAN, Ethernet LAN).
• Work with government/military customers and secure architectures.
• Evaluate security services and cross-domain solutions for compliance.
