SYSTEMS ENGINEER SR PRINCIPALGDIT is looking foe a Lead Systems Engineer supporting DHS Homeland Security Task Force (HSTF) / National Coordination Center (NCC). Senior systems engineer responsible for end-to-end design, integration, and verification of mission-critical law enforcement capabilities in AWS Cloud and hybrid (cloud/on-prem) environments. Translates operational requirements into system-level designs and testable requirements; develops and maintains core SE artifacts (requirements, traceability, specifications, diagrams, test plans, baselines); leads integration and system-level testing across applications, data, infrastructure, and security; and drives transition to operations. Partners with the Systems Architect on technical design, ensures compliance with federal security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800‑53, FedRAMP, DOJ), and improves systems engineering practices on the program. Provides technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and coordinates infrastructure and software projects.
