Job summary
Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering for a Group 5 autonomous aircraft development. You will shape air vehicle and subsystem requirements and develop MBSE artifacts in a digital thread, collaborating with avionics, software, propulsion and other disciplines.
The role requires a BS in engineering, 2+ years of UAS systems experience, MBSE/SysML proficiency, and an active US Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or similar engineering field.
- 2+ years Systems Engineering for UAS with aircraft systems focus.
- Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-882E, ARP-4761 and ARP-4754A.
- Experience developing subsystem requirements and interfaces.
- Experience with SysML, DoDAF or similar modeling methods.
- Excellent communication; able to present artifacts.
Responsibilities
- Shape air vehicle and subsystem requirements with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop system artifacts and model to trace inputs to design in a digital thread.
- Lead systems engineering reviews: SRS, PDR, CDR.
- Communicate and manage program risks with Chief Engineer and PM.
