Job summary

Magna Electronics in Michigan is seeking a Systems Team Lead to guide a multi-disciplinary engineering group. You will manage project scope, KPIs, and cross-functional design reviews while ensuring automotive system integrity from concept to production.

The role requires senior systems engineering expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience with CAN tools and ASPICE/CMMI processes. On-site work in the US near Detroit is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field or equivalent.
8+ years of systems engineering experience in serial development for automotive electronics.
Experience with automotive OEM requirements and IS026262, SAE J2464, IEC, NEC, ISO 20G53 standards.

Responsibilities

Lead a cross-functional systems engineering team and manage objectives and estimates.
Provide technical guidance for system design and integration.
Ensure design reviews, traceability, and compliance with QOS and safety standards.
Coordinate with Manufacturing and Software teams on interfaces and DFMEA.
Develop system-level requirements, DFMEA, and KPI reporting.
Support customer technical reviews and deliver project documentation.
