Job summary

EVONA is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to bridge advanced satellite technology with government and defence missions in the United States. The role is highly visible, working directly with government customers and internal engineering teams to shape next-generation defence space solutions.

You will lead systems engineering across defence programmes from concept through verification, translate mission requirements into system and subsystem specifications, and manage architecture, CONOPS,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
• 4+ years supporting DoD or defence programmes.
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (TS/SCI eligibility desirable).
• Experience with RF, communications, aerospace or defence systems.
• Knowledge of systems engineering processes and requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering across defence programmes from concept through verification.

I'm supporting an exciting commercial space organisation that's expanding its defence capability and is looking for a Lead Systems Engineer to bridge advanced satellite technology with government and defence missions.

This is a highly visible role working directly with government customers and internal engineering teams to develop next-generation defence space solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and requirements management.

Experience supporting ISR, C2, PNT, satellite communications or space systems would be particularly valuable.
