Job summary

Bna Inc is looking for a Lead Systems Architect to define the System of Systems architecture for the U.S. Census Bureau’s Decennial Transformation and Application Modernization effort. This role requires technical leadership across on-premises, SaaS, and multi-cloud environments and demands a strong knowledge in systems architecture and engineering.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience providing technical and management leadership on major systems architecture assignments.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess current Decennial systems architecture.
• Develop, document, and maintain a system architecture and engineering roadmap.
• Establish and maintain systems architecture standards for SoS service providers.
• Lead application rationalization and system assessments.
• Support program risk management related to architecture.

Skills

Expert experience designing System of Systems (SoS)

Ability to perform architecture gap analyses

Developing SEMP and interface catalogs

Strong background in application rationalization

Aligning solutions with enterprise architecture frameworks

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

Tools

TOGAF

Cloud Architecture certification (AWS / Azure / Google)
