Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Lead Systems Analyst to document the current-state architecture and data landscape across Alternatives, including Private Markets and Hedge Funds. You will collaborate with business, technology, and data teams to map systems, processes, data flows, interfaces, and ownership, producing clear, reusable artifacts.

The role involves identifying gaps and proposing practical improvements, while facilitating workshops with stakeholders to validate findings

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Systems/Lead Systems Analyst in a complex enterprise.
• Experience documenting current-state architecture, interfaces, and operational dependencies.
• Ability to analyze end-to-end data flows and data mappings across multiple systems.
• Strong written communication and workshop facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python is preferred.
• Experience in investment management or financial services is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document current-state application and systems architecture across the Alternatives domain, including key platforms, interfaces, dependencies, data stores.
• Produce architectural artifacts for Private Markets and Hedge Funds, including context diagrams and inventories.
• Document end-to-end data flows supporting business processes, including data sourcing, transformation, and reporting.
• Work with stakeholders to capture core operational processes, handoffs, and pain points across the Alternatives landscape.
• Develop domain data model with Data Architect and document data lineage.
• Create source-to-target mapping documents for data sharing with internal systems and third parties.
• Define mapping logic, transformations, validations, and reference data usage.
• Maintain an inventory of interfaces (files, APIs, reports, feeds).
• Identify gaps and data-quality risks and propose improvements.
• Facilitate workshops with SMEs and teams to validate findings.
