• Basic SQL knowledge; Python a plus.

Partner directly with Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts to understand investment workflows, portfolio analytics, and business processes, translating business needs into technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze and improve investment processes and portfolio analysis platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and architecture teams on solution design and implementation.
• Support testing, production issues, and platform rollouts.
• Promote adoption of AI tools and technology solutions across the investment organization.
• Drive Agile best practices and support cross-functional initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in asset management, portfolio analytics, and investment workflows.
• 5+ years as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience working directly with Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, or front-office investment teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience gathering requirements across multiple systems in Agile environments.
• Basic SQL knowledge required; Python is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of portfolio risk, performance attribution, portfolio construction, and factor exposures.
• Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) and the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
• Experience with investment analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) for requirements gathering, workflow automation, and business analysis.
