Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a lead Systems Administrator to guide a team in monitoring, performance management, and modernization of a critical network. You will turn metrics into information and mentor the team to develop new methodologies. This role emphasizes leadership and hands-on administration.

You'll work with Linux/Unix systems, manage software pipelines, and collaborate with operations and development teams to drive improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of systems administration experience, or 15+ years without a degree.
• Experience as tier 3 support for a GOTS software product.
• Experience triaging between operations and software development teams.
• Experience testing software and aiding in configuration management and software pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Nexus, Docker and Nifi.
• Experience administering Linux/Unix systems.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead as a systems administrator and mentor the team on monitoring and performance management.
• Guide opportunities for modernization in a critical network and translate metrics into actionable insights.
