RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Administrator based in Woburn, MA to support Windows and Linux enterprise environments in a large-scale, classified program. You will design, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure, patching and hardening systems while collaborating with Cyber Security and DevSecOps teams.

You will deploy imaging and automation solutions, manage AD and GPO configurations, and ensure compliance with DoD requirements in a fully on-site environment, with some after-hours

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Able to obtain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience administering and securing Windows and RHEL servers.
• Experience with VMware virtualization.
• Experience with securing system configurations and hardening.
• Experience with scripting.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Principal Systems Administrator, supporting Windows and Linux environments in a 24x7x365 mission-critical setting.
• Design, implement, and maintain virtual infrastructure using VMware ESXi and vCenter.
• Patch, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities with DoD regs and STIG/SCAP.
• Engineer imaging, deployment, and automation solutions (MECM/SCCM, PXE, OS imaging).
• Administer core Windows services: AD, GPO, certificates, and user environments.
• Collaborate across Digital Tech, Cyber Security, DevSecOps, Networking, Storage, and Tools teams.
• Provide on-site DoD environment support with occasional after-hours and travel up to 10%.
