Job summary

Halo Industries, Inc. is seeking a Staff System Integration Engineer to lead the integration and verification of our laser-based wafer manufacturing prototypes.

You will oversee end-to-end system integration, test strategy, and data-driven optimization in a fast-paced lab environment. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in electro-mechanical system integration, strong data analysis skills, and hands-on experience with optics, lasers, and automation hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ElectMechanical/Optical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years hands-on experience in system integration in semiconductor, laser or precision manufacturing.
• Proven experience assembling, integrating and testing complex electro-mechanical systems including optics, lasers, motion control and automation hardware.
• Strong proficiency with data acquisition and analysis tools (MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional collaboration during early design phases to define system interfaces and resolve mismatches before build.
• Execute physical integration of laser-based manufacturing prototypes with hardware teams.
• Architect and execute the system test strategy from subsystem characterization to full validation.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot multi-disciplinary issues on the system.
• Write scripts and build automation to configure, tune and optimize system parameters for stability.
• Mentor junior engineers on the floor and guide integration workflows.
• Collaborate with manufacturing for smooth handoffs and document procedures and performance reports.
