Job summary

British Swim School of Northwest Detroit is seeking a Lead Swim Instructor to teach lessons to children and adults using our gentle, structured methods. You’ll train with us and bring energy, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Evening and weekend shifts fit around college schedules, and training is provided. There are opportunities for raises based on performance, and you’ll help kids build water confidence while staying active and engaged.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or teaching others in a structured environment.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Experience working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children and adults using our methods.
• Maintain safety and order during lessons and class times.
• Help families feel confident and supported for ongoing participation.
