Job summary

Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed in Ellisville, Missouri seeks a Swim Club Lead Group Coach for a full-time role. Immediate starting date with responsibilities including supervising daily operations, planning workouts, and guiding coaches and swimmers.

The role requires safety certifications, coaching experience, and strong communication with parents and head coaches. Salary is $18 per hour; candidates must be able to work nights and weekends and travel as needed within pool locations.

Qualifications

• American Red Cross Safety Training, CPR and First Aid required.
• Minimum one year coaching experience in an age-group swim program.
• ASCA Level 2 or higher preferred.
• Must hold USA Coach’s Card.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite required.
• Team Unify and Hy-Tek knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations for the assigned group, including staff and swimmers.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate seasonal workouts and goals.
• Attend and oversee practices and team travel meets.
• Evaluate and guide assistant coaches and determine meet schedules.
• Communicate with head coach and parents; update group pages and newsletters.
