Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Survey Technician - Water Main Systems in Chicago to support PMO programs. You will prepare TORs, coordinate survey vendors, and verify basemaps for the Water Main and LSLR projects under supervision.

You will work hybrid from US-Chicago with strong focus on accuracy, coordination, and timely delivery. Relevant GIS/CADD experience and ability to manage multiple tasks are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with utility infrastructure preferred.
• Experience with MicroStation.
• Ability to coordinate survey vendors and manage basemap revisions.
• Familiarity with ArcMap and GIS concepts allowed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare yearly TOR to be accepted by DPS.
• Process IR requests from OUC for WM & LSLR programs.
• Review and correct OUC utilities in basemap using MicroStation per standards.
• Prepare basic GIS maps for IR using ArcMap.
• Prepare 80 Acre sheets for WM projects using ArcMap.
• Coordinate basemap revisions with design and CADD teams.
• Support topographic survey firms contracted for CIP programs.
• Track project status in P6 and related tools.
• Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
