Job summary

CenterPoint Energy is seeking a seasoned leader to manage Surveying and Right of Way activities for electric and gas distribution and transmission projects in the Indiana and Minnesota service territory. You will oversee staff and contract resources to ensure adherence to procedures and service levels.

You will drive budgets, safety, and employee development while coordinating with external agencies and landowners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Geometrics, Surveying, Engineering, GIS, or related discipline from an accredited college/university.

Responsibilities

• Manages Surveying and Right of Way activities for electric and gas distribution and/or transmission projects with a focus on distribution survey.
• Manages full‑time employees and contract resources supporting Surveying and Right of Way.
• Ensures contract resources are following CenterPoint survey standard operating procedures.
• Manages Survey and Right of Way processes and workflow to meet service level agreements.
• Manages and performs activities for division employees and contractors (e.g., safety, performance reviews, job descriptions, employee development plans, discipline, counseling, employee attrition).
• Represents the Enterprise before governmental agencies, developers, landowners and in legal proceedings.
