Job summary

Spot On Surveying, Inc. is seeking a experienced Survey Party Chief to lead field teams in Texas. You’ll monitor quality, establish project control, read construction plans, complete surveys from start to finish under deadlines.

We require a minimum of two years of hands-on surveying experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with GPS and Robotic Total Station instruments, plus office software and time-tracking platforms. Join a team that values safety and client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience as a survey party chief.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with Office programs and time tracking platforms.
• Ability to work outside in all elements (Texas).

Responsibilities

• Monitor technical and quality control standards.
• Establish and understand project control for a variety of projects.
• Understand construction plans and complete projects from start to finish under deadline constraints.
• Construction calculations, staking, prepare cut sheets, and staking plans.
• Collect topographic information for 3D mapping.
• Prepare detailed notes and sketches as needed.
• Collect data for tree surveys meeting different city requirements.
• Maintain equipment, office station and vehicles.
• Communicate daily with team members regarding projects.
• Train and help bring up chainman, rodman, and instrument operators.
