Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead field operations on land development, transportation, utility, and boundary survey projects in Northern Virginia.

You will manage a crew, operate GPS and robotic total stations, and ensure precise data collection and documentation. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• Experience with GPS and robotic total station equipment.
• Ability to read construction plans and survey plats.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Lead a survey crew on boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction staking, and utility surveys.
• Operate GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors.
• Ensure accurate field data collection and documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers and office staff to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain survey equipment and uphold safety standards.
