Job summary

DDS Companies is seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead boundary, topographic, ROW, and existing condition surveys, while guiding junior teammates. The role blends field and office duties, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate maps and successful project outcomes.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of leadership experience, proficiency with robotic survey tools, AutoCAD/Carlson SurvCE familiarity, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
• Proficient with latest survey technologies, robotic total stations, base/rover & network GPS.
• Must be familiar with boundary, topographic, utility, right-of-way, and existing condition surveys.
• Knowledge of land surveying practices, principles, and techniques.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
