Blew & Associates, P.A. is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead field survey activities and ensure high-quality deliverables for nationwide projects.

You will collect and process field data for ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys, coordinating with project managers and clients as needed. Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a Survey Crew Chief, strong leadership, and proficiency with total stations, GPS receivers, data collectors, and Carlson AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• Strong understanding of surveying concepts and practices.
• Proficient in the use of survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
• Part 107 license is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with CAD software, specifically Carlson AutoCAD, is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee survey field activities and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Collect data for various surveys including ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
• Check, reduce, and process raw field data; perform calculations and download data.
• Research project needs and follow instructions from project managers.
• Communicate daily with Field Project Manager to track field schedule.
