Pape-Dawson Engineers seeks an experienced Survey Professional in Fort Worth, TX, to provide expert technical and office support for survey projects and serve as a trusted advisor within the survey team.

The role demands overseeing detailed drawings, legal descriptions, and advanced calculations with AutoCAD Civil 3D, plus leadership across multiple projects and strong client collaboration. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of experience in a survey technician or related role.
• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation experience desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to oversee multiple projects.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration across teams and with clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex survey challenges.
• Reliable, self-motivated, able to work under tight deadlines.
• Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex survey tasks and provide expert-level guidance to all levels of Survey Technicians.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings, exhibits, legal descriptions, and advanced calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform quality control reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Lead deed research efforts and abstract complex data for legal and survey purposes.
• Act as a liaison between field crews, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated databases of survey data for long-term project use.
• Provide input on process improvements, training initiatives, and technology upgrades.
