Legent Health is seeking a Lead Certified Surgical Technologist in Bellaire, TX to oversee sterile technique and operating room preparation. The role supports surgeons and OR teams to ensure safe, efficient invasive procedures and excellent patient care.

The candidate will mentor staff, coordinate with vendors and departments, and uphold our standards for quality and safety across perioperative services.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a surgical technologist or competency in two or more specialty areas.
• Ability to work under stress and adapt to rapid changes in procedures.
• Effective communication with physicians, staff and patients.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgeons, OR leads and managers on daily operations.
• Develop staff development plans with department educator.
• Coordinate with team leads, sales reps and materials management for equipment and supplies.
• Ensure accurate instrument availability and processing for cases.
• Mentor junior technologists and support staff in the operating room.
