Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a surgical technologist program or equivalent prior to 9/1/2009 may substitute with 1 year hospital experience as surgical technologist.
• 1+ year of Certified Surgical Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies and advanced equipment.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping and draping.
• Scrub in and provide instruments, handle specimens, anticipate needs of the team.
• Monitor patients and surgical equipment during procedures and respond to concerns.
• Uphold sterile technique and support a high-performing, collaborative team.
