Job summary

CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline is seeking a Lead Surgical Technologist to support perioperative services. You will scrub multiple specialty areas such as Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, and Robotics, while mentoring OR orientees and coordinating instrument turnover and turnover times.

Requirements include a Surgical Technology program, High School Diploma, BLS, and certification as a CST or LVN/LPN license.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Surgical Technology program or certificate.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all processes related to delivery of direct patient care in the OR.
• As lead tech, provides leadership and education within the service line.
• Scrubs three specialty areas including Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Robotics.
• Mentors and coaches OR orientees; coordinates instrument turnover and inventory.
