Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room with instruments, supplies, and equipment for each case.
• Perform surgical counts with RN prior to procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique throughout operations.
• Anticipate instrument needs for upcoming and following cases to improve turnover.
• Gown and glove surgeons and staff, pass instruments, and drape sterile fields.
• Mentor, coach, and teach other healthcare professionals and students.
