Job summary

Hyde Park Surgery Center is seeking a Surgical Tech Coordinator (Lead Tech) to scrub for procedures and maintain a sterile field across ENT, Orthopedic, Pain Management, and Spine cases. The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and coordinating with physicians in a 3-OR ambulatory setting.

Position requires weekdays only with possible early mornings or later evenings; schedule may change with the surgical day. Comprehensive benefits are provided upon employment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED and completion of a Surgical Technician program or equivalent
• State certification as required by state/center
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions
• Strong teamwork and communication with staff, patients and physicians

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures
• Supports the center's philosophy and quality improvement activities
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care
