Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Surgical sterilization techniques and operating room instrument knowledge.
• Six months' experience in an acute care OR or ambulatory surgery center.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.

• Six (6) months' experience in an acute care hospital-based operating room, or ambulatory surgery center.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Certified.
• 1 year of OR experience.
• CORT or CST.
