Qualifications

• BCLS certification required
• RN license in CA (CA) required
• BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of acute care Med Surg RN experience
• Surgical Med Surg experience preferred
• Leadership/charge nurse experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and discharges to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care per policies and procedures
• Collaborate with managers to foster teamwork and improve patient outcomes
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed
• Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement (rounding, hourly rounds)
• Participate in interviewing, training, and performance evaluations for staff
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management
• Support inventory control and equipment management
