Job summary

Boart Longyear is seeking a Surface Driller — Lead with Safety in Nevada. You will operate the drill, lead a 2–3 person crew, and ensure safety protocols on remote sites. Expect 14–20 day cycles with consistent home time and performance bonuses.

Responsibilities include reporting drilling activity, maintaining equipment, and mentoring junior staff while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of consistent experience as a Driller or Driller Assistant in Drilling, Mining, or related industry.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to obtain CDL.
• Must pass background and drug screening and a Physical Fitness Evaluation.
• Must have U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Operate the drill and lead a small crew; support site operations and rig up/rig down.
• Prepare daily reports of drilling activities and track time, supplies, and footage.
• Maintain safety and follow EHS policies; provide inductions to visitors and training to field staff.
