Job summary

Boart Longyear is seeking a Core Driller to lead a small crew on long shift rotations, ensuring safe and efficient drilling operations across multiple sites. You will be responsible for rig setup, operations, and daily reporting while maintaining strict safety practices.

The role offers hands-on leadership, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package, with travel to remote sites and the potential for overtime and bonuses based on performance and safety metrics.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of consistent experience as a Driller or Driller Assistant in Drilling, Mining, or adjacent/related industry.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to obtain CDL.
• Willing to travel to worksites throughout multiple states including NV, UT, AZ, ID.

Responsibilities

• Operate the drill and lead a small crew while supporting site operations.
• Prepare daily reports of drilling activity and timekeeping for payroll.
• Maintain safety, follow EHS policies, and perform routine equipment checks.
• Provide training and mentoring to field employees.
• Ensure equipment life and maintain inventory and records.
