Job summary

Sonepar USA is seeking a highly organized Lead Supply Chain Project Manager to drive distribution center builds, warehouse automation, and transformation initiatives across our organization.

You will partner with operating companies and cross-functional teams to bring structure, visibility, and accountability to complex programs, including go-lives and governance, ensuring successful delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of project management experience leading large, complex projects.
  • Experience managing supply chain, logistics, distribution, or warehouse-related initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead projects through implementation and go-live activities.
  • Strong project planning, risk management, governance, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to provide clear updates and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and tracking of strategic supply chain projects (DC builds, go-lives, warehouse automation).
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risk registers, and governance structures.
  • Drive accountability by ensuring deliverables are completed on time and risks escalated when needed.
  • Partner with business leaders, sponsors, and OpCos to create alignment across initiatives.
  • Support and enhance PM methodologies, playbooks, and governance processes.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, steering committees, and executive updates.
  • Track project health, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and readiness activities.
  • Support implementation planning, operational readiness, training coordination, and post-go-live reviews.
  • Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in execution.

We are seeking a highly organized and influential Lead Supply Chain Project Manager to drive critical distribution center, warehouse automation, operational go-live, and supply chain transformation projects across our organization. This role will partner closely with business leaders, Operating Companies (OpCos), and cross-functional teams to bring structure, visibility, and accountability to complex initiatives.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of project management experience leading large, complex projects.
  • Experience managing supply chain, logistics, distribution, operations, or warehouse-related initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead projects through implementation and go-live activities.
  • Strong project planning, risk management, governance, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to provide clear updates, drive accountability, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification or other formal project management credentials.
  • Experience supporting distribution center builds, facility launches, warehouse automation, or supply chain transformations.
  • Experience working within structured PMO environments and applying project management methodologies.
  • Exposure to Agile, Scrum, stage-gate, or other formal project frameworks.
  • Experience with project portfolio management and executive reporting.
