Blackwave designs, manufactures and ships flight-qualified, commercial off-the-shelf composite overwrapped pressure vessels (COPVs) for launch vehicles and satellites. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Munich, Germany, Blackwave delivers COPVs from a standardized portfolio with flight heritage, reducing lead time from months to days while ensuring each tank is qualified and flight-ready. Blackwave’s mission is to end COPV failure in spaceflight. The company employs more than 150 people across manufacturing facilities in Germany and Texas.
The Lead Supply Chain will own and drive Blackwave’s end-to-end supply chain in the United States. This is a hands‑on, on‑site ownership role requiring daily presence to manage physical flows, partners, and teams across procurement and warehousing. The role combines strategic planning with operational execution and close collaboration with local and international stakeholders.
