Job summary

GE Grid Solutions is seeking a Lead Supplier Performance Engineer to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring PO execution per GE Grid Solutions requirements. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet annual quality, delivery and cost targets.

You will lead supplier audits, non-conformity management, supplier development and pre-shipment inspections, including global supplier coordination and development of parts to meet abroad unit requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university and 14+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Previous quality engineering, Supplier quality engineering, product development in electrical/electronic manufacturing environment.
• Experience with low-cost country supply chains, Incoterms, packing and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier selection through audits (SRG, qualification and process audits).
• Coordinate periodic surveillance audits and supplier self-assessments.
• Support, collect, evaluate and perform audit requests from product lines.
• Address critical issues with Product Lines and Global Commodity Leaders.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
