VITA AEREA PREMIUM AVIATION SERVICES LLC in Mesa, AZ seeks an experienced Lead Supervisor Mechanic to lead a skilled maintenance crew and ensure aircraft meet the highest standards. You will supervise, diagnose, and oversee maintenance and repairs while maintaining thorough documentation.

The role requires 5+ years in aviation maintenance with supervisory experience, strong FAA knowledge, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of aviation mechanics, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to FAA standards
• Perform and oversee scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues across a variety of aircraft
• Ensure all maintenance documentation, logbooks, and work orders are accurately completed and compliant
• Coordinate with operations and management to prioritize workflow and minimize aircraft downtime
• Mentor and develop junior mechanics, fostering a culture of safety and technical excellence
• Enforce adherence to company policies, FAA regulations, and manufacturer maintenance manuals

Requirements:

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required
• Minimum 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, including FAR Part 43 and Part 145
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins
• Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred but not required
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call as needed
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
