Job summary

New Directions Mental Health, a Transformations Care Network member, seeks Supervising Clinicians to supervise and train unlicensed and graduate clinicians in outpatient mental health services. The role blends supervision with hands-on therapy and may include a hybrid work arrangement.

The position requires a Master’s or higher, an active clinical license, and post-licensure supervisory experience. A focus on ethics, HIPAA, and quality outcomes guides day-to-day supervision and clinical care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited program.
• Valid independent clinical license in the state(s) served.
• Meet minimum post-licensure experience requirements for supervisor as determined by licensing board.
• Meet licensing board requirements to provide clinical supervision.
• Knowledge of state/federal rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and training for unlicensed, graduate level, and/or intern clinicians.
• Deliver supervision weekly to associate level clinicians; supervision may be live or via video, across multiple sites.
• May provide supervision/consultation to independently licensed clinicians.
• Provide services in person and via telehealth, or a hybrid model as needed.
• Review supervisee documentation and approve necessary documents.
• Maintain supervision notes and ensure timely recording in the EHR.
• Identify areas for performance improvement and provide feedback to clinicians.
• Coordinate care with clinic medication prescribers; ensure privacy and compliance.
