Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a Lead Superintendent for on-site management of multifamily construction projects in Las Vegas, NV. You will partner with the Project Manager to drive projects from pre-bid through punch list, ensuring schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards are met.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years as Lead/Senior Superintendent in multifamily work, strong field operations experience, and proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam. Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as Lead or Senior Superintendent for a General Contractor.
• Multifamily construction expertise.
• Strong background in commercial/multi-family construction: surveying, excavation, site grading, masonry, framing, and interior finishes.
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• High school diploma required.
• Fluent in English; read complex blueprints/specs; lead coordination meetings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations, manage subcontractors and suppliers, and resolve on-site issues.
• Prepare job schedules (CPM and look-aheads), monitor production costs, and manage budget.
• Enforce Field Quality Control Program from building pad through final striping; minimize punch items.
• Implement and enforce safety management plans; conduct incident investigations; ensure safety compliance.
• Submit daily construction reports, review submittals, track change orders, manage field paperwork.
• Assist the estimating team with pre-bid requirements including sequencing, scheduling, and logistics.

Overview

A general contracting firm specializing in multi-family construction is seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee trade activities on site. Partnering closely with the Project Manager, this role drives projects from pre-bid through final punch list, ensuring work stays on schedule, on budget, and meets high safety and quality standards.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily field operations, manage subcontractors and suppliers, and resolve on-site issues
• Prepare job schedules (CPM and look-aheads), monitor production costs, and work to meet or improve the construction budget
• Enforce the Field Quality Control Program from building pad through final striping to minimize punch list items
• Implement and enforce safety management plans, conduct incident investigations, and ensure compliance with safety legislation
• Submit daily construction reports, review submittals prior to installation, track change orders, and manage field paperwork
• Assist the estimating team with pre-bid requirements including sequencing, scheduling, and logistics

Required qualifications

• 7+ Years experience strictly as a Lead or Senior Superintendent for a General Contractor
• Multifamily expertise required
• Strong background in commercial/multi-family construction, including surveying, excavation, site grading, masonry, framing, and interior finishes

Preferred qualifications

• Podium and mid-rise experience highly preferred
• Experience with Viewpoint Team, ProjectSite, and AutoCAD is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is a plus

Compensation and benefits

• $110,000 - $145,000 (DOE)
