Job summary

MPI is seeking a Lead Superintendent in Greenville, SC to oversee complex healthcare and education projects for a top ENR general contractor. You will drive field operations, manage project teams, and ensure safety, schedule adherence, and quality.

The role requires at least 8 years as a superintendent, strong leadership and blueprint skills, and proficiency with project management software. Healthcare project experience is highly preferred and OSHA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• The candidate has at least 8 years as a superintendent in building/construction.
• Healthcare project experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to motivate teams.
• Deep understanding of construction techniques and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Excellent organizational and scheduling capabilities.
• Familiarity with project management software tools.
• OSHA certification or similar safety certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain detailed project schedules with milestones.
• Oversee daily on-site activities, safety, and quality control.
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Communicate updates to managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Evaluate and process change orders with PMs and clients.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials; forecast needs.
