Brief Description

The Project Superintendent is responsible for supervising all field activities related to physical construction. They must ensure that the workforce components work cohesively to produce a quality product completed efficiently. Position Overview

• Developing and monitoring the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Participating in scope reviews and coordinating bid packages.
• Managing site logistics, security, and facilities.
• Overseeing subcontractor performance, safety compliance, and workforce adequacy.
• Monitoring procurement and delivery schedules.
• Leading field staff and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized site.
• Ensuring contractual and quality standards are met.
• Conducting meetings, preparing reports, and documenting progress.

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience:

• At least 10 years in construction, with 5+ years in multi-family, wood framing, and concrete projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction disciplines, project management, and cost accounting.
• Experience managing employees, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills across management levels.
• Proficiency in scheduling software.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
