Job summary

Champion Window is seeking a Sunroom Lead Carpenter/Installer in Grand Rapids, MI. You will lead the installation of sunrooms, including walls, windows, roofs, and doors, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

You will direct a helper, manage tools and materials, and maintain safety and compliance on every job. The role offers a competitive pay package, full-time W-2 benefits, health/dental/ disability insurance, a 401(k), paid vacations/holidays, and a company truck with tools and a gas

Qualifications

• 3-5 years prior experience in construction involving carpentry, roofing, and window installation.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; associate degree or trade school experience in construction a plus.
• Experience with a brake and other hand tools required.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a fleet vehicle.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Certified in lead standard a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of sunrooms including walls, windows, roofs, and doors.
• Direct the helper to ensure a Champion quality job is safe and timely.
• Interact professionally with customers while upholding Champion’s reputation.
• Ensure the truck is equipped with all parts, tools, and resources to complete projects.
• Safely perform all aspects of the job in compliance with laws and regulations.
