Job summary

Raytheon in the United States is seeking a Principal Subsystem Engineer to lead an Integrated Product Team on electrical subsystems for missile guidance electronics. The role focuses on architecture, requirements, integration, and test across multiple programs.

The position requires heavy cross‑functional leadership, deep experience in electrical hardware, and ability to coordinate with suppliers and customers. This is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree may substitute for experience (Master’s = +2, PhD = +4).
• Experience with electrical hardware development, subsystems, systems engineering, and requirements development/validation for RF, analog/digital circuitry.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional engineering teams through product development lifecycles.
• Architect, document, and verify subsystem requirements and test plans for missile guidance electronics.
• Mentor and collaborate with program management, suppliers, and customers.
• Support multiple programs and travel as needed to meet commitments.
